Osmond Alexander Wylie was graduated from Davidson College in 1861. While at Davidson, he was a member of the Eumenean Society and Chi Phi. He served in the 6th South Carolina Volunteers from 1861 to 1865 and achieved the rank of Captain. He served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1881-1887 and after 1887 farmed in the area of Richburg, SC. He died in Richburg in 1903. From the description of Album, 1858-1865.
